Sell your house the easy way

by Michelle
(Burnaby)

Every homeowner wants to sell their homes fast. and for top dollars.
Is it possible?? Yes, it is.

Start looking at your place from the buyer’s point of view: they would like to have a spacious and comfortable house with a matching wall decor. A buyer feels more comfortable knowing they buy a house that’s taken care of.

Quick makeover and wall decor tips to help selling your place:
1.-Clean your house: vacuum and dust thoroughly and take off all personal photos or items you have on display in different rooms
2.-De-clutter kitchen, bedrooms and storage areas. Don’t forget to include the garage, too. This will help buyers envision the space as their own!
3.-Paint all baseboards and trims in the house – it will give a “like new” look to your interiors.
4.-Kitchen is one place that every prospective buyers will look at. So remove all extra items from countertops. Inside cabinets can be look at, too. Buyers like to “take a peek”!
5.- If kitchen appliances and cabinets are dated, replace them. Your money will be well spent, and you will get a good return on them!
If you can't afford replacing cabinets, clean them( paint) and replace old knobs with new ones.
Replace any chipped tiles and clean the grout. Repair any leaky faucets and give your sink a good clean up!
6.- Paint all the interior walls– that's one of the most cost effective improvements you will do! No fancy colors, just use neutral ones.
7.-Bathrooms are another spot that buyers will look thoroughly: repair dripping faucets or leaky showerheads. Clean the grout between the tiles and recaulk the tub if necessary.
8.-Remove any furniture that will make the rooms look smaller than they are. For furniture, the “golden rule” is: “Less Is Better Than More”.
9.- Check all rooms and replace any burnt light bulbs.

And last but not least:
